Course Description:
Introduction to Entrepreneurship is a free introductory course about the business world and gives students a taste of working in a professional setting, allowing them to improve their critical thinking, leadership, and public speaking skills. Through this detailed course spanning one week, students will be able to understand how to create their own business. By the end of this course, students will be able to gain crucial soft and hard skills necessary to thrive as an entrepreneur.
Course Features:
- A series of discussions on fundamental business topics and aspects of finance, mainly covering the stock market and methods to analyze companies.
- A set of various activities such as a stock market simulation, public speaking exercises, company analysis, and more as a supplement to the lessons.
- A culminating final project where students will encapsulate their understanding of the lessons by creating and presenting an idea of their choosing.
Course Calendar:
All classes will be held daily for 5 days from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM PST.
