Course Description: 

In this 2-week course, you will learn how to create fun games and animations using Scratch, a block based programming language! No prior knowledge of coding is required.

Course Features: 

  1. A series of lessons on the essential aspects of Scratch coding, mainly covering interacting with sprites, playing sounds, using if-statements, and storing data in variables.
  2. A set of various activities such as labs, projects, and challenges that will help reinforce your understanding of coding in Scratch.
  3. A culminating final project where students will encapsulate their understanding of the lessons by creating a game/animation of their own.

Course Calendar: 

Classes will be held 3 days a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for 2 weeks from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM PST.
