What is Bloom?
Bloom Institute has a mission to foster student development with different approaches. We provide a range of initiatives for students, from free courses in traditionally underfunded subjects, engaging student-led project mentorship, and writing and film contests.

What do we provide?
For younger blooming leaders
(Recommended for students with limited experience with leadership)
From a project focus chosen by the student, a mentor will help with planning specific initiatives. The initiatives must be executed by the student leader, but plentiful help and advice will be provided.
Entails:
– Closely guided mentorship
– Specific due dates and check-ins from their mentor
– Co-brainstormed initiatives (publicity, events, etc.)
– Short culminating report to document project
For older blooming leaders
(Recommended for students with previous experience in leadership)
From a project focus chosen by the student, students will be responsible for planning specific initiatives. They will be provided with help throughout the process, but they are responsible for their own work. Entails: – Advice on starting the project – General timeline to follow – Guide to gaining publicity – Help on gaining recognition from local and government officials – Formal culminating report to document project |

Bloom a Business
Help a growing business out by beta testing their products, creating promotional material, or providing feedback on their progress so far.
Bloom A Difference
Choose a social cause of your interest and plan events or initiatives around it. Interact with the community!
Bloom Your Startup
Grow your own business and learn about entrepreneurship!
Sessions
Projects would be separated into 3 sessions. Each session will officially last 4 months (around 12 weeks). Throughout these 4 months, most of the initiatives and guidance will take place, but dedicated members can choose to continue the project after their session ends. Projects can be individual or led by up to 3 collaborators. One individual or new group of students per project will be accepted per session. Each project will complete a minimum of 2 initiatives, which can range from planning an event, volunteering, or creating a marketing campaign.
